the 2023 SOUTHWICK Northeast Area Qualifier SATURDAY & Sunday, April 8 & 9

For all riders trying to qualify for this year's Amateur National at Loretta Lynn's. We kick off the weekend with open practice on Friday the 7th and then go right into qualifying races on Saturday.

Important Info for parents of minors racing at Southwick

Effective immediately per order of our insurance company, any minor riding an open practice, taking a motocross class or racing at The Wick 338 must have the Minor Release signed and notarized by both parents! When do the gates open

Thursday at 5:00 PM (close at 10:00 PM each night), 7:00 AM on Friday, 6:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday

HOW MUCH ARE tickets at the gate?

Arriving Thursday or Friday $30
Arriving Saturday $20
Arriving Sunday $15
Five years old and under free, unless they’re racing.

Class entry fees

Sign up $40. Plus 1 AMA $15 fee per class for riders trying to advance to the Regional Qualifier.

Proof of age and insurance coverage required

transponder scoring

No exceptions, we will have some transponders available for rent for $20. a day with a $280 deposit (cash or a credit card with a driver's license)

AMA membership required

Full and one day memberships will be available at the track.

Friday open practice

LLAQ qualifying riders only $50 per class. Ride from 9:00 till 3:00
Practice will be held the morning of each day’s event.

WHAT Classes are running on what day?

We'll have a race order the day of the races but here is a list of what classes are run on what days.
This is not a race order.

Important Info for parents of minors racing at Southwick

We know this is a huge inconvenience and we wish we didn't have to enforce it but our hands are tied, we have no choice.

If both parents are present at the track they may sign the form in the presence of a track official who will have to check IDs.

If one parent will not be able to make it to the track they must sign and have the Minor Release notarized and then the other parent can bring it with them to the track where they can sign it in front of a track official who will have to check an ID.

If the parent at the track is the sole guardian there is a box to initial stating that they are the sole guardians.

When filling out the Minor Release enter a date range of March 27 until December 5th to be covered for the year. All parents who bring a release dated that way will be given a card stating that they have a release on file and will not have to bring a new one at every event. We are sorry to have to do this and we thank you so much for your cooperation.

This DOES NOT eliminate the need for at least one of the parents or guardians to be present at sign up for the minor.

If your child will be attending and riding at an open practice, a motocross school or racing at The Wick 338 with another adult as their guardian both parents or legal guardians must sign and have notarized the Guardian Form appointing a legal (over 18) guardian for the day.

Will you take credit cards at the gate?

Sorry, but no, we will not be taking credit cards at the gate. With so many people in the area all using data it's almost impossible to rely on cell phone based terminals.
