2025 Northeast Vet Championship

THE 2025 SOUTHWICK NORTHEAST VET CHAMPIONSHIP September 27

One of our favorite races of the year! We'll have Vet classes for riders 25+ to 60+. There will also be an Open Vintage class for Vets only and a few "Any Age Classes" that we need to space out the Motos for you old guys.

THE SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEKEND

Friday
5 PM - Front gate open until 10 PM

Saturday
6:00 AM - Front gate opens – Closes at 10:00 PM
6:30 AM – NE Vet Race registration open
8:00 AM – Practice begins
9:30 AM - Racing starts (approx.)
5 PM - Podium awards at registration area for Team Race. (Approx.) After party!!

Sunday (Normal NESC Classes)
6:00 AM – Front Gate opens
6:30 AM – NESC Race Registration
8:00 AM – Practice begins
9:30 AM - Racing starts (approx.)

BENCH RACING SATURDAY NIGHT

We'll have bench racing, refreshments and music in the Registration Area on Saturday night after the races.

HOW MUCH ARE WRISTBANDS AT THE GATE?

Gate fee will be $20. per person, No refunds.
CLASS ENTRY FEES Sign up $40. for the first two classes, $20. for each additional class. Team entry is $50 per rider.

NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

All riders are welcome to race, no membership in any organization required

TRANSPONDERS ARE REQUIRED

Transponder rentals will be available - $20 plus $200 refundable deposit (or hold valid CC)

We'll have a race order the day of the races but here is a list of what classes are run on what days.

25+ Women
40+ Women
25+ A, B & C – Pay A
30+ A, B & C – Pay A
35+ A, B & C

55+ Open
60+ Open
Open Vintage – VET ONLY (bikes built in 2002 and earlier)

#OLDMENTHATUSEDTORACE – No Charge – 5 years inactive (This class is reserved for those who have not had a gate drop in the last five years. Even if the only race they’ve done was that class with us.)

NE VET 2 RACER TEAMS

The minimum combined age of the team has to be 60

Each Rider will do 4 laps

IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARENTS OF MINORS RACING AT SOUTHWICK

Effective immediately per order of our insurance company, any minor riding an open practice, taking a motocross class or racing at The Wick 338 must have the Minor Release signed and notarized by both parents! We know this is a huge inconvenience and we wish we didn't have to enforce it but our hands are tied, we have no choice. If both parents are present at the track they may sign the form in the presence of a track official who will have to check IDs. If one parent will not be able to make it to the track they must sign and have the Minor Release notarized and then the other parent can bring it with them to the track where they can sign it in front of a track official who will have to check an ID. If the parent at the track is the sole guardian there is a box to initial stating that they are the sole guardians. When filling out the Minor Release enter a date range of March 27 until December 5th to be covered for the year. All parents who bring a release dated that way will be given a card stating that they have a release on file and will not have to bring a new one at every event. We are sorry to have to do this and we thank you so much for your cooperation.
This DOES NOT eliminate the need for at least one of the parents or guardians to be present at sign up for the minor. If your child will be attending and riding at an open practice, a motocross school or racing at The Wick 338 with another adult as their guardian both parents or legal guardians must sign and have notarized the Guardian Form appointing a legal (over 18) guardian for the day.

WILL YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS AT THE GATE?

Sorry, but no, we will not be taking credit cards at the gate. With so many people in the area all using data it's almost impossible to rely on cell phone based terminals.
